Tenants who live in San Diego County's large apartment complexes saw their rents rise slightly in the first quarter of 2008, the RealFacts research firm reported yesterday.
The average rent in San Diego County was $1,378, a 0.6 percent increase from the fourth quarter of 2007 and a 3.7 increase over last year's first quarter, according to the survey of complexes of 100 units or more.
The first-quarter rental occupancy rate was slightly under 95 percent, down 0.3 percent from the previous quarter and down 0.8 percent from the first quarter of 2007.
